Nationwide reservations set us up for a 2 night, 3 day stay at the Ramada Plaza Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. We sent $50.00 which was supposed to be refunded at check-in. In order to check-in we had to first go through the welcome center. We were assured there would be NO time share presentations in this trip.

After checking in, a lady (Joanne) took us to her desk and told us in order to get our $50.00 back we would have to pay $40.00 more and go to Holiday Beach to hear a presentation on condominiums, then when we got back we would get our full $90.00 back. My husband was fit to be tied! We said no, because we just came down to visit with our son who lived in Miami and wouldn't have time for all that.

We proceeded to check in and found we had to pay a hotel TAX of $12.00 per day at the desk. We paid that only to find out that we did not have to, that was only if you were using the pool and other amenities. We are both seniors and they never told us that at the desk.

We would like our $50.00 back and our $24.00 back for all the aggravation and lies that were told to us. This whole thing was a scam and several other people were very upset at check-in as well as us. Joanne-Macclenny, Florida
