When my boyfriend and I received a call on our CELL PHONE about a great opportunity for a discounted vacation package we trusted the sales person, SANDRA PASTORE, because the "Ramada" name was attached. This is a prime example of deceptive advertising and telemarketing, because come to find out via your wonderful website, the package isn't for the Ramada Hotels we thought of as reputable, but an affiliate hotel who MERELY USE THE RAMADA NAME.

Um, excuse me, but when you say you are selling people hotel packages to stay at RAMADA, be d**n CLEAR that it's NOT the chain we expect it to be, but instead, from what your victims eventually find out, just a package to stay in crappy, flea-ridden hotels that you would never otherwise set foot in. RAMADA PLAZA RESORTS are quickly making a HORRIBLE name for themselves and will soon find themselves in extensive legal trouble if they continue these BAD business practices. As for the REAL RAMADA, they are DRAGGING their formerly good name in the mud by allowing this company to use their name, or even such a similar name. If this company is their affiliate, they have made a BAD BUSINESS choice, and are not thinking long run, nor do they care about the moral consequences of their actions.

I am writing to the Attorney General of Florida and will raise hell about this, and I WILL get my money back, even if I have to employ my lawyer to file suit. I don't care what it takes. I have warned the MANY people I know about this SCAM, and hope you will do the same. P.S. "Stephen" from Ashburn,VA, who says this whole thing is not a scam, your report sounds suspisciously like a promo or add for the Ramada Plaza Resorts, for which I think you work. Here's why: Not only did you happen to have a great vacation (sure, right), but you mention that it was $1000 to make the package sound like it would be worth that... NEVER!

For $1000 people can stay at better places than the crappy hotels this package offers. Also, you thought nothing was misrepresented? Interesting... because practically anyone would think that buying a package for a stay at Ramada means the well-known, formerly reputable chain, not some phony place with a similar name. If you were a real customer of this package, you would have AT LEAST admitted that was misleading of the company to not make a distinction, but instead your article sounds like a cheesy sales pitch for this SCAM. You also ENJOYED the timeshare pitch, which anyone knows is similar to a hostage situation. You also think the timeshare was a offered at 'a very attractive price', so you bought one. Did you type this straight out of your employee handbook on how to sell these d**n things?

It's obvious you work for them or did this for someone you know. Please, have some INTEGRITY and don't patronize the victims of this scam. Glad to know you will be repeating the trip this year, since it's (WOW!) 1/2 the price of last year. What a bargain... or a last ditch sales pitch to an already frustrated audience. It's pretty low to try to advertise on a web site where people who have been scammed by your company are looking for recourse and/or attempting to warn others about your shady business.
Have a nice day.
