I too have recently purchased a so-called" luxury vacation" from Ramada Plaza Resorts, and after reading about all the deceptive,under-handed,shady buissiness practices of this company,feel compelled to try to keep these abusive con-artists from lying and stealing from me,as well as my fellow nieghbor and/or countryman/woman. I recieved my itinerary several weeks ago for my "dream vacation" and am scheduled to arrive at South Florida Welcome Center September 16, 2002.I don't plan to go alone or empty handed,though.My brother,my cam corder,and all the information that I can muster will be travelling by my side to at least assure that there will be a record for others to see,so that they too might refrain from being scammed and stuck by this company/agency.Lets hope Ocean Beach Resort,the "tour", the "luxury Cruise Liner",and all the "5 *****" accomidations are what I was led to believe they are!In closing,I am extremely sceptical!

Sir, I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful trip arranged by Ramada Plaza Resorts. But you failed to mention one of the other things most people have complained about- the time share presentations!
Did you attend? How many were there? Were they longer did 90 minutes? Perhaps you bought into one...

I purchased my vacation in January 2002 and initially was skeptical, because of the bad stuff on the internet concerning travel. However I called up their customer service department and spoke to Tara. She explained everything about the vacation and what I need to do, bring, and get ready to travel. She assured me that she herself had been to the hotels and the cruise line and that I would have a good time on the vacation.
So against all the stuff on this web site my wife and I decided to go on the vacation in August 2002. We had a superb time. For the $1200 we spent we felt that we got our monies worth. The hotels were not the 5 star, but they had all the stuff we needed (Restaurant, Laundry, Beach,etc).
We upgraded our car so the drive around town and to Orlando would be more comfortable in which it was. The food on the cruise line was great. We ate until we were tired of eating. So I would suggest this vacation to anyone. I wanted to post this because my wife and I had a good time and we thought other should hear about that and not just the bad stuff.
