Complaint Review: Ramada Plaza Resorts

I was a sucker for this high pressure scam from RPR, or Ramada Plaza Resorts. I'm sure you know the details already, even though the packages offered are different. After we attempted to cancel, and they told us we could not, I searched the internet and found many horror stories, and also this site. I also found the way to get our money back. To do so, file a complaint with the State of Florida Division of Comsumer Services located here:

This is all we did. We were very detailed, and got a response from the State within a couple days, saying they had received hundreds of complaints within the last few months. About two weeks later, we got a letter from the state saying that they were closing our case because RPR had agreed to refund our $498 immediately. Our credit card has been adjusted, so we are satisfied. THATS IT! It worked for us. Be persistent, and good luck! Other useful info...
