Ramada Plaza Resorts, Daniel Lambert, Gina Johns ripoff business from hell Ft Lauderdale Florida *UPDATE
I received an e-mail for a 2nite 3 day trip to either Orlando/Ft Lauderdale or Vegas. I love to travel and have wante do to to Florida for awhile(as I have relatives there) I filled in the e-mail form and thought this was legit as I wasnt asked for CC info online. I then called the 800 nubmer to activate my trip.
A very pushy, rude customer service person told me this was a once in a lifetime offer and that i'd be staying 5 star hotels and would get free passes to Universal a free unlimited miles rental car and so forth.
So I paid 398 dollars--supp th is is for an upgrade to an 8 day 7 nite trip(I siged up for the Orlando portion) I normally am very careful NEV ER to give out cc info over the phone but this ocmpnay was so pushy and made this offer sound so good that I gave them my info.
The next day I was interested in what my hotel would look like so I seached online for Ramada Plaza Resorts and came upon this site and another one. on both sites ou can read stories of peopel duped by this crappy company. I have not yet taken the trip nor Hvae I paid any more money. I do not plan to do either, and my hope is that I can get my 398 dollars back. I also paid an extra dollar to go to some sort of charitable organziation--and I wonder if such an organziation even exists. If it does and that is really where my money went, they can keep that dollar, but if not id want it back too.
I have written letters to Daniel Lampert and Gina Johns and will be faxing letters also , I also have contacted the CA and FL Atty gen, FL dept of Agricuclutre, BBB etc...

I talked to a represenattive who transferred me to reservations. I told them I wanted my money back as I need to pay for school etc.. the operator was very sickingly sweet and said oh so how often do you go on vacation, this is such a great trip blah blah and said I could get 199 dollars back. So I took that(as hey that's better than nothing) but I am still going after them for the other 200 and will be checking my statement to make sure they refund me that 199.
