I recieved a letter in the mail stating that I should call a number to claim my travel prize. I found out that I actually had to pay for it at the end of my conversation (not a suprise to me). I was very reluctant to purchase this, because I am a student with a wife and child, and as you know I have limited recources. To get me to purchase this they gave me an extended period of which I could use it... something like five years. I purchased this deal because I figured it would be good vacation once I had finished school.
It has now been two years and they are calling me telling me that my package will expire in 4 months. I explained to them what was explained to me, but the Belligerent customer service agant only went on to tell me how wrong I was. I called back, furious looking to talk to a supervisor, finding out that they were too busy to talk. The best they could do was to give me a 6 month extention. Now I am down $700 on this trip, and I stil have to pay another $700 to use it. I have neither the time or money to use this trip for at least another year!!
Now I am in the hospitality industry and I can honestly say that this is one of the worst SCAMS that I have come accross in all my studies. This is MISREPRESENTATION of the truth and should not be tolerated!!
