Ramada Plaza Resorts, FAMILY TRAVEL ripoff Maitland Florida
Ireceived a phone call and went for the deal to go to orlando for 4 days 3 nights and to fort lauderdale for 3 days and 2 nights for 99 dollars per person all i had to do is take a tour, they wanted a check by phone payment but i gave them a credit card check not my personal check and they took it, it was for 228.00 (which after reading several complaints i got off pretty good) anyway i waited and waited for a confirmation packet to be sent to me they kept asking me for my email and i gave it to them atleast 5 times before i actually got theconfirmation and then i got on the internet to see if ramada plaza resort had any photos i could look at and i saw all these complaints.
i feel so stupid and believe me im not stupid. im not even going to put my family through the ordeal, how can i get my money back? they did say it was nonrefundable, but covered there butts by saying i had 3 years in which i could do the traveling, is there anyway i can get this taken off my card?

You can read my "hell" with this so-called company, Ramada Plaza Resorts (last updated 3/21/02)
Here is what I did:
I sent the lengthy ripoff report to my Attny General Richard Blumenthal (from Connecticut) and the Commissioner of the Florida Department of Consumer Services Mr Charles H Bronson and, of course, Ramada Plaza Resorts. I did get $1200 which is better than nothing!!! They refunded me the initial trip charges of $598 per person. I am thrilled and wanted to share the information with you all and hopefully you can have the same luck I did. Hey - I got this all done within a MONTH!

Don't give up! I returned from this hell trip (yes, I actually WENT) on February 16th and had a refund by March 11th!!
