I called about the offer received in the mail yesterday regarding the Gold Key Orlando, Caribbean cruise, South Florida vacation. Like most others, the rep made it sound wonderful and wow, what a bargain! The problem is, you have to buy right then, no time to investigate the company or the offer. I find all of this feedback very interesting! Needless to say, I am very spooked and chose to cancel before I have received any of my information packets. (FYI the cruise that they offer can generally be purchased for between $129 & $179 PP, doesn't seem like such a bargain now...especially if the hotel accomodations are as dumpy as claimed!)

I called the rep. that left me her name, phone and Ext. I got right through to her and explained I needed to cancel after speaking with spouse and will it be a financial burden. She was kind enough to tell me that by law, they have to refund even thought I was told it was non-refundable prior to purchase. She said that each state has it's own limitations but if I called back to cancel within 3-5 days of receiving the packet I could cancel. I was told that on the back of the terms and conditions I would find such information and there would be a number to call.

Of course I will call the moment the package arrives and will also follow up with credit card co. and put it into dispute, if need be. Will update progress of refund but wanted to put this info. out ASAP incase anyone else needs to cancel and it is crunch time!
