Ramada Plaza Resorts OFV ripoff ripoff business from hell Ft. Lauderdale Florida
I've gotten little voucher like this for years and they was always scams. You would call them and they tell you all this great stuff about you suppose vacation they are providing for you.
And then here comes the catch they ask you we need your credit card just to hold the tickets, but your credit card will not be charged they tell you and then wow! you get this enormous bill on your credit card.
They should not beable to get away with this. They are millions of people getting these little vouchers in their mail or on their via email address saying they've been selected to go to where ever and there is always a catch.

I did not receive a voucher, but a call to my home. I was offered a DISCOUNTED VACATION PACKAGE. For an extremely reasonable price I received a 7 day cruise or 7 day Florida vacation, four days/three nights in Las Vegas, and four days/ three nights in Williamsburg, Virginia. We have already gone on our vacation to Florida, and we had an absolutely fabulous time. My husband and I are looking forward to our next two trips, it was a luxury vacation at a fantastic price!!!

Please - you can't even reserve a hotel room you are paying for without a credit card for confirmation and guarentee. You are trying to say that you called and they said, "Ok Ms so and so - show up on this day and make sure you pay the good ole front desk lady the taxes and stuff..." I have never heard of such a thing. If you truly got a free hotel room there wouldn't be any extra charges and further more, if there were any extra charges than most companies I know of would secure a credit card to assure themselves that those extra charges would, in fact, be paid for.

I just read the report on Ramada Resorts Plaza OFV regarding their free hotel room vouchers, and it seems as though it either has changed or the person got ripped off by the wrong people. I recently received the vouchers in the email as well, and I called and received my free voucher. I was never asked for a credit card or anything else, except I was told that once I stay at the hotel, I am responsible for phone or room service charges. Otherwise, everthing seems ok.
Sorry that happened to someone, but they should know never to give your credit card to unknown people.
