I came home from work on day, and picked up my mail. I noticed an envelope from the US that said records division. I opened it up and there was a boarding voucher with all my information, including a fake cheque in the amount of $1,600.00.

After reading the voucher at the bottom it says to call with a travel companion. Which I did not do, however I figured I could call, then if I am interested I could schedule something. I'm getting married, and figured it would be perfect to save a little money.

I called and was on the phone with a representative for an hour, all I wanted to do was find out some information. They were such good sellers, that without confirmation from my finance I ended up buying a package for $698.00. 4 days 3 nights in Orlando florida, 2 days 2 nights on the Carnival cruise lines, thereafter come back to florida and stay 1 day 1 night in Ft. Lauderdale, and a rental car for 7 days etc. etc. etc. more trips incl. etc.etc. I bought it. Because I'm getting married and soon, we have been putting alot of money down for deposits. Likely, I only had a couple hundred dollars available. So we arranged a payment plan.

After the verification, I got off the phone and went to walk the my dog with my fiance. The whole walk I was discussing about this amazing trip. When I came back, I decided to check the web-site that the verification representative provided me with. However, when I typed the web-site address in, it didn't work.
I tryed again, it didn't work.

I went to MSN search and typed in Ramada Plaza Resorts,Orlando/Fl.Lauderdale Vacations and was provided with almost a hundred web-sites. After scanning through some sites, I noticed RIP OFF REPORTS.com, I clicked on it and found 357 reports with respect to this. I was in SHOCK! I got off the computer, called my credit card and reported a fraud activity.
I called a representative from Ramada resorts to cancel. They were very rude. She was asking personal questions, but I stood my ground and told her not to waste her time to try to sell me a package for cheaper value, I just want to cancel. I was literaly fighting with the women, who put my on hold for like 15 mins., came back and told me that it would be cancelled.

The next morning I called my credit card company, whom advised that they put a hold for $200.00, which I didn't authorize. I got them to call with me on the phone, and they verified that it would be cancelled within 3 to 5 days. I told the credit card company about RIP OFF REPORTS.com and I advised them that I will not authorize if they decide to remove the $200.00. My credit card company confirmed that they will not do this.

THEY PUT A $200.00 hold on my card. Thank God I didn't have the full amount, because I don't know what I would do. Things are still ongoing. However, I work at a law firm in Ontario, Toronto. If anyone is interested in a civil lawsuit against this company, please let me know. With enough people, we could this business out of business and get a refund plus they pay for legal fees. That's how it works here.

I hope everyone who gets this stupid vocher reads these articles from RIP OFF REPORT.com first. GOOD LUCK!
