Ramada Plaza Resorts Orlando/Ft. Lauderdale Vacations Rip off Took off with my money and want allow a refund. Ft. Lauderdale Florida
I was contacted by Ramada in reguards to a special vacation package deal. I informed them that it sounded nice but that I was not going to be able to take a trip for awhile due to my husband having had a very serious car wreck. They said no problem! They would give me up to 2 years to make reservations.However, they were needing a deposit in the amount of $480 (approx) to secure my spot. Plus I would have to notify them 60 prior to vacation date and pay "only" an additional $160(approx.) for my son to go with us. I gave them my credit card # and they made the transaction.
Two years later, with deadline for vacation approaching. I contacted Ramada and explained to them that my husband had to under back surgery and money was tight. So, I wanted my money back. They explained that there were "no refunds". However, for another $100 (approx) they would extend my vacation deadline.
I havent heard from them since and I am still paying the interest that I accured from the inital deposit. I want justice. How can they continue to keep my money and I get nothing out of it?
