Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff cruise vacation to Bahamas ripoff fraud business Ft. Lauderdale Florida
I was first contacted by Ramada 3 years ago. They offered me the notorious Bahamas package, but I did not have the money to pay as I was in college. Then they offered me another "deal" for $120 - 2 nights in Orlando and 3 nights in Ft. Lauderdale and all my $120 back - all I pay is taxes. I took that and went on the trip. For a free trip it was great. Once the Ramada people found we were college kids, we were spared the sales pitch.
After returning home, I followed the procedure to get my $120 back as promised. After going through a small hell, I got the full amount back.
At that time I had no idea how lucky I was and what was going on.
In June 2001, I got another call from Ramada and this time I got in for the large package of $698. To my greatest horror I found all these reports online and now I prefer to just forget about it, instead of dipping in more money. Thanks to the reports I read, I got some faith that I may be able to get my money back. I will call the company to ask for a refund, create a track record and then contact the MD state attorney.
That company is unbelievable - after all these complaints they are still allowed to function...in the US. I would have never thought anything like this could be possible.
