I glad I found out about all the complaints before I confirmed my departure date. I have had this package for 2 years ($698 deposit) and was going to have my children and some friends join me. If I hadn't became curious about the resort I would have been clueless. I have sent an online complaint to my State Atty's office and the Florida State office and faxed a complaint to Daniel Lambert. Copies of my compalints are also being sent. I hope I get my refund.

I am definetly not going on the trip. I am just disappointed that me and my children will not be able to live out our dream of going on a cruise. But I want to say one thing. Thank God for the internet and thank for people like the Rip-off Report and others for making this public. I will keep you updated on what if any refund is given back.

Ramada Resort -- Refund

#6Author of original report

I checked my credit card to check the balance on it and to my surprise and thanks to God, the balance was substantially lower than it originally was. The only way that it could be lower is that the Resort gave me my refund. I had received confirmation from both State of Florida and Tennessee that they received and forwarded my complaint. I can only thank the Good Lord and the Rip-Off Report for bringing this out, allowing us to vent our anger, and providing needed info. To all the consumers, don't give up in this fight and hopefully everyone will get their money back and that soon this so-called company will be out of business.

jerk wads working there

#6Author of original report

Mon, January 20, 2003

Yesterday I called to cancel my vacation and also tell them I wanted a refund. After waiting about 15 minutes I spoke to a representative, told her that after researching their company further and finding out they are scams and have numerous lawsuits against them, she proceeded to say "What does lawsuits have to to with your vacation?" That was my first clue to tell me that they have some jerk wads working there. I have little patience and I just told her that they will be getting my complaints from the Attorney's Office and that I AM cancelling and hung up. I don't know if I made things worse but whether I get my refund or not they will have a fight if they think they are going to get any more money from me.
