Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff, fraud, refusal of refunds fraudulent ripoff business Ft Lauderdale Florida
I,too, am a victim of these vacation package smooth talkers. They got my name and number after I filled out a slip to "Win a luxury dream vacation" at an auto show.
The phone call came a few weeks later stating I was "the lucky winner" and then the smooth talking, high pressure, fraudulent promises that included this was a one time only offer. They got my $698.00 deposit. Started looking into planning the vacation in May and decided to do a bit of research on the company.
After seeing what kind of scammers these people were I called for a refund. A person named Tara said refunds are only available within 3 days, as described in the video/literature package that I received over a week later. Duh!! Can't know about a 3 day refund policy if I'm not notified for 7 days!
Sure would like to get in touch with Scott from Pompano who posted he worked there for 5 years and knows how to get people refunds. You have my permission to send my information to him and him only. Looking forward to less aggravating and better days and put this in the past. Sure did teach me a lesson, though. Research any company or person before you pay a dime.
