Ramada Plaza Resorts are liars, cheats, and take advantage of families and invdividuals expecting a wonderful vacation.

We were invited to visit Florida for a vacation, and that all the expenses were covered on the trip, once we paid the initial deposits. Meals, a rental car, hotels, a cruise and entertainment were all promised.

When my family arrived at the car rental store, we were not given the free upgrade we had been promised and paid an additional $135 for the car.

When we arrived at the hotel, which was supposed to be a 5 star resort, we found a dumpy hotel with brown water, holes in the walls, a towel rack that fell off of the wall when touched, and inedible food in their so called restaurant. Those free meals we were supposed to receive were disgusting and we ate in restaurants instead. The hotel was located in a seedy, industrial neighborhood.

The 2 day cruise was on a 50 year old, dilapidated ship not worthy of a cruise line. Our bathroom was so stinky we could not use it, and the drains were backed up and the shower flooded out all over the floor.

There were not the advertised ameneties, ie; fitness room, pool, hot tubs....it was a sad, pathetic joke of a cruise. Our two day crusie was actually just a two, all night cruise with 7 hours for us on the island.

The final lie that Ramada Plaza Resorts told us, was that that we had a 7 day car rental. When we went to return the car, we were charged for an extra day, another $89 fee.

There were numerous expenses that RPR never told us about, adding up to over $1000 additional expenses we did not expect.

I was very disappointed that my chidren had to experience a scam like this one, and I hope that others will not have to go through many of the experiences we did on our so-called get away vacation.
