On February 28, 2004 I received the solicitation in the mail regarding a luxury vacation package from Ramada Plaza Resorts and Carnival Cruise Lines. I called, and stupidly accepted the package, which required a downpayment from my credit card, of $698.00. One week later, as I'm searching the internet for the hotel and cruise promised, I came across this website, and read the horror stories below.

Today I called the credit card company who helped me put my account on hold so that RPR would not charge anything else to my card. I also went on this website: http://www.800helpfla.com/ccform.html where I filed a complaint with the State of Florida Division of Consumer Services. Tomorrow, I will send a Formal Demand Letter to this "Daniel Lambert", by certified, return receipt US mail, for a full refund.

I just wanted to thank everyone for posting their horror stories here, so that I actually have a chance to get my money back before it is too late, or if I ended up on the trip, spending more money then they promised I would have to spend. I hope others read these postings before they decide to give RPR a call! Those sales people are the best smooth talkers I have ever encountered! Beware-- they're full of it!

I will update my posting as this scam progresses, to let everyone know just how ridiculous this is and how to get their money back.
