Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff victimized many consumers business that doesn't give a dam Fort Lauderdale Florida
In January of 2002 I received a phone call telling me about this fantastic vacation package to Florida that I have to take advantage of that day to receive the one time price.
This package included a weeks vacation for two, 4 days and 3 nights at a luxury resort in Ft. Lauderdale, 2 day cruise to the Bahamas and 3 days and 2 nights in Orlando with a free rental car for a week for the price of $598 and each additional person for the price of $198, not including airfare.
I gave them a deposit of $90 and received my package. They later called and made arrangements to deduct my Visa card in 3 installments of $150 for the balance. They only received 1 installment. So far I am out $240.
Long story short. I closed the Visa account and Monday 8/19 I went to look on the Net at the package again to decide when I wanted to take the trip and pay the balance. I typed in Ramada Plaza Resort and notice that there were pages of sites about Ramada Plaza Resort scam. Well folks, I have been hood-winged and bam-boozeled.
Anyone out there that hasn't taken the trip and gotten a refund? California lady wants to know. I was going to make this a girl's trip for family members.
