Ramada Plaza Resorts Taken By Them Too deception ripoff ddi anybody get their money back - do you have a fax number for them? Fort Lauderdale Florida
I too became a victim of Ramada Plaza Resorts yesterday and like many of the other stories I have come across, found out too late about their methods. Now I did call yesterday to cancel since it was still in the 3 day grace period. My husband also called later in the day because he was not here to agree to the whole deal.
We were both promised that the money would be refunded to our credit card within 7-10 days. Of course we weren't given confirmation numbers and were told that a confirmation card would be sent to us by mail. I have read others saying they did the same thing but nobody has updated to say if they did recieve the refund or not.
So please let us know if the company came through for you or if they gave you more of a runaround!! I'd also like to fax the company with my request of cancellation as well so that I have a "copy" of this just in case. If anybody has a fax number I'd appreciate it!! Thank you so much!!

If they say they are offering you a 5 Star Resort, than that is what they are compelled to provide you. Although I had a good time on my trip with my wife, we were definitely the exception, not the rule. We felt pretty good after hearing all of the horror stories from people we met.
From what I have read, complaints out number compliments to RPR about 100-1. People are pressured to make decisions under great duress. This is a sleazy, soul-less company.
I don't usually pick on people's grammar, etc., but yours was atrocious. Probably a good reflection of this ignorant organization.

Hello I am a employee that was worked For R.P.R now for over a year. This company taught me that we were to give our cutomers respect and never to lie to the cut.. and if we did we would be turminated on location. Managers and Veriffication listens and records.. our conversations all day and night.. I personally have had a manager come tell me to put my hall on hold and gave me a write up for missinforming a cutemer.. this company doesnt tolerate ANNY thing that might jeperdize a cust... We have people that have traveled with us now for over 11 years in a row and always say that the vac they bought were well planed and that they travel with us b/c we have nice acc.. at a good price.... come on people if you want a 5 STAR RESORT with the ammount of nights this company gives you you better get a Lottery ticket and wish on luck.. B/c A 5 stare hotel in FLORDIA is going to start at 400.00 a night I know I worked at the A beach resort and they started at 199.00 a night in season and went all the way up to 500.00 a night ocean front 400.00 partial ocean view 300.00 main blding facing ocean and 200.00 main blding.. By the way this is a 3.5 star hotel that says its a resort independitly owen and opperated all their clients are call in's and walk inns.. So if you want a 5 star vacation you will be waiting a while if you want a vacation that is a good price and a good vacation this vacation is for you if you want a 5 star vacation Resort this isnt for you ... And really people do you read your TERMS AND CONDITIONS ANYWAYS whos falt is it really if you cant get your $$$ back read them conditions and BY LAW you can get your monney back with in the STATES laws this company is doing noting E-legal its you the consumer not taking the responsibily if you really dont want a vacation why do you give us your address.. full names of people you want to take on vacation. give us a credit card and say yes to the pack. if you dont want it hang up i dont give my credit card out to someone if i dont want something. thats just STUPID.. I work to hard to waist $$ I know that you all do the same that is how I know that you wanted the vacation and that you just decided that this company was bad b/c you wanted a way out od an aggrement and the company help you too it.. WEll too bad they did that .. WOW so do car loan and house payments and credit cards and ANNY SIGNED or ORAL CONTRACTS... This call may be MONITORED or RECORDED for Quality or traing purposes..
