I was offered a great deal with Ramada Plaza Resorts but was unpleased with the presentation of their sales pitch. Always saying "the only cost to you is tax and tips" Sounding like a completely Free offer.
We were offered the same as most of the others a package deal for $698 per person this included 2 nights at the Amerihost Resort or the Ramada Plaza Resort. Also 3 nights at the Ramada Plaza Resort in Ft. Lauderdale to take sail to the Nassau, Bahamas.

We would have to sit through a presentation and fill out a one page survey evaluating our accomadations at their request on our return. Our stay in Florida would also included a 7 day rental of a rental car from Alamo Rent-A-Car. They also included our choice 4 Days/3 Nights at either Puerto Vallarta, Mexico or Las Vegas, Nevada in this price. Sounded just a bit to good.

I have read some of the others who have filed their own complaints against Ramada Plaza Resorts and some of the rebuttals from some of their employees. I read some who had said they were charging $99 for their children. This was also stated to us for children under age 12. Older children was $198. We did turn down the offer in anticapation of something being wrong. Only to get a phone call from them within the hour. They had reduced the price $400.00 for my husband and I to $498.00 per person. Also willing to pay us $100.00 for our travels to Florida.

And they would throw in some more side vacations to different destinations. We again turned it down. I believe if someone is going to offer me something better after we turn down an offer than the original offer something is REALLY FISHY. I do not know if this would have been a scam or not but felt we could have been taken if we would have given our credit card number. If it was on the up and up we were taken by our own stupity but just hate to take the chance when it comes to our own money during times like these when our economy isn's doing that well.

Thank you so much for your site and the information you have provided from the others to help make things better for us all.
