I am yet ANOTHER unsatisfied customer of this company, who makes promises, but doesn't follow through after the money is paid.

The Ramada hotel in Ft. Lauderdale is FAR from luxurious, in fact, it was what I would describe as sleazy. The staff was rude when we checked in and were informed that we would have to wait for "awhile" for a representative to present us with our hotel voucher. When I inquired how long "awhile" was, I was dismissed and told to sit down and wait until my name was called. We waited 40 minutes before we were able to get the vouchers to check into our ugly room.

After the weekend at their sleazy hotel, we were looking forward to the cruise. When we arrived at the port we were infomed through a flier, that it would not be making the stop at Key West, as planned, as the port there has apparently been under construction for at least a month. I'm quite sure Ramada was aware of this, but chose not to disclose this information to us. Therefore, we had 4 days at sea, with only one stop in Cozumel for a day. In addition, the "all inclusive" was quite costly. For 2 people, we rang up a bill of $450, which was probably not uncommon for 2 people.

The hotel in Orlando, the Amerihost, was actually pretty nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. That was our last 2 days of vacation. Something tells me they haven't been tainted by the Ramada curse yet.

I plan on writing a letter to the BBB in Florida and Illinois, as well as the company to ask for a refund from this ripoff vacation.
