Two days before my wedding on May 25, 2002 I received a call from a friend telling me that Ramada had closed and went bankrupt.

We paid by check over $1,100.00 to Ramada to hold our wedding reception in their banquet hall and also for catering services, and our honeymoon suite.
I tried to call the Jacksonville IL location and there was no answer. I called Corporate Ramada and they also did not know why the Jacksonville location was closed or what was going on. They told me that they couldn't take any action for 5 days. And my wedding would have been over in 5 days.

The local newspaper (Jacksonville Journal Courier) did a front page story on our wedding and how ramada had stolen our money and ruined our wedding.

To this day I have contacted Corporate Ramada several times and they say it is not their responsibility to refund our money ,but the manager's responsibility. The managers name is Masud Saiyed who has disappeared and is declaring bankruptcy through his attorney Frank Giganti 217 528-2183.

Our wedding day will never come again! The memory is ruined and full of pain.
