 Rancho Security is a poorly run company that allegedly provides security services, but instead functions  as an outlet where Ricki Nicholas, owner, is allowed and encouraged to verbally abuse employees and set others up for prosecution. For example, an ugly l*****n employee named Paulette was aiding and abedding a woman escape from the U.S. Marshall Service when assigned ti provide security services to a local community.

The woman in question fled the area and Paulette engaged in dauily telephone calls from her assigned location to her in San Francisco. When representatives showed up fom the US Marshalls, she denied any such contact, but told Marshalls that supervisors and coworkers were contacting the woman daily, despite evidence that indicated that Paulette had regular contact with the woman.

Paulete was actually being paid through Western Union by this woman for her services, which included stalling the marshalls, and telling them that she went to New York. Neither was smart enough to know that the phone trail would follow them, though Rick Nichols, owner of Rancho Security, contacted that marshalls and told them coworkers and the supervisor were responsble for the phone calls, but not Paulette.

After marshalls contacted the supervisor and coworkers, they learned that Idiot Rick was lying to cover for Paulette, who took her girlfriend and left town to San Francisco. Ricki was then left to answer questions from the marshalls, when he still blamed coworkers and supervisor for the problems with the marshalls. Rick's legal case is still pending, though he has lost credibility with many people who have since discovered a deep psychosis that lies within him.

Rick is very demeaning and argumentative, particularly when he speaks to employees and vendors who are articulate and intelligent, as he becomes scared and insecure and lashes out at them. For instance, on one occasion, as a vendor politely described his product, Rick shook his fat head and screamed (spittle included) "I am a security expert." That from a moron with old food stains on his shirt and wearing painter style pants that dont cover his 58 inch stomach or a**.

In other instance, he started screaming at a client, "I know I am right, you are not, I have expertise you never will." He lost that contract, as the board member remembered the conversation where he made a suggestion and was verbally attacked.

In another instance, rick blamed multiple employees for an errant employee that removed confidential information about 300 residents that included phone numbers, relative names and access codes and left it on the city bus on the way home. The obscene calls to residents from unknown people was a mystery to them, but not to the employees who were blamed for the loss. Thos employees, were, incidentaly, on vacation and worled part time and were not supervising the employee who left the material on the bus. In fact, none of them had been at work for three days when the information was found on the bus by miscreants.

I would not normally pick at someone's health problems, yet Rick uses them to abuse employees. In one instance, he asked a question and I answered it, yet he only heard a few words and asked rudely, "why did you tell her that he had been here when he hadnt?" No amount of explaining to this slob amounted to him unerstanding anything I said, yet anytime anyone spoke to him he missed 80 percent of what was said. Rick would sputter and drool, and then scream that "I know I am right, you didnt do what I said, I am about to get really mad."

In another instance, Ricki promoted his homosexual lover/general manager Ron's son (Chris) to a manager position after he destroyed a patrol car in a drunken rage.

Rick, if asked about assuming a more responsbile position, would state "everybody needs to calm down, jsut calm down." However, I asked in a calm voice, and mentioned that, yet he huffed and puffed and tripped over a rug before slamming the door in his office.

Rick is and was very threatening, and would quite often state, "I am about to get really mad," in mid conversation. It was always polite conversation, though when asked why he needed to act in such a barbaric, retarded manner, he would huff and puff, turn red and stomp down the hallway.

Rick and his lover, Ron, ignored compplaints from a client about the onsite supervisor at a woman's shelter, which resulted in a womn being raped and stabbed. Neither would counsel or remove the supervisor, and ignored the client and verbally abused her whenever she called. 30 days later, it was bidding time for services, at which point tub of lard RICKI lost his client to a better company, though he acted as if nothing had happened and became angry, having to be removed by local police who harpooned him with a net.

Ricki favors the 85-90 year old men who he feels he can control, though he abuses them verbally as well. In most cases, his clients eventually dump him because they want a deterrent to crime, not a future victim of it.

If not Rick's undermining his officers and abusing intllegent, capable officers until they quit, the implications of wasting money on his Rancho Security should awaken most of the business community in NV.
