I gained Randall Bentons details on Craiglist for his rental property.
We went to view his property which we were interested in.
He fed us some story all the flooring was being replaced due to a burst pipe. We did find it strange though that he had industrial fans and dehumidifiers to dry the flooring out though. Why do that if you were replacing it?Also the property still had bedroom furniture as if someone was still living there
He is very well mannered, well spoken indvidual. Do not be fooled by this!
We informed him we were interested, which he stated Credit checks would have to be carried out. Nothing new there so we decided to continue exchanging cash. Mistake!
We received his app form which is when we become suspicious.
It looked like a 10th grader had done it. No company name - just didnt look like a formal landlord credit form.
Thats when we fished around and found out who he really was!
We decided to back off and ask for our money back.......as you guessed nothing!
He has very low morals and will happily take $5 dollars off you without a care in the world
All I can do is pass this onto others who wish to do business with him.
Beware, he will con you one way or the other
