#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Let's discuss the facts of this claim, you are welcome to contact me, Randall S. Eckberg, 561-441-2894.  I am the owner of Randall Corporation of America, (RCOA) and we have been in business for over 30 years handling the 3rd party damage claims for Comcast in South Florida.  We have investigated 10,777 claims for cable companies in South Florida since June 1, 1987.   This is also the first complaint against RCOA in over 30 years that we are aware of.  "Ben" (who is really "Benjamin") is the son of the property owner where damage took place. Installation of the fence did cause damage to Comcast (which is a very common occurrence in South Florida), which caused an outage to their customers of their internet, phone and Video service (cable tv).   This claim was paid by the property owner soon after this damage took place.   It should also be noted that the property owner was in violation of Florida Statutue # 556.101 (see callsunshine.com) which requires the "excavator" to request the area to be located priot do any "excavation" work.    No lawyer ever contacted RCOA regarding this claim with property owner or "Ben", so "Ben" is making comments that are false and misleading.    Date of loss was 05/07/2016.  Property owner filed for permit with Palm Beach County on 07/07/2016 and approved by Palm Beach County on 07/21/2016, so a permit was required for the fence they were installing.  If "Ben" didn't feel a permit was needed, why did the property owner (his mother) file for a "permit"???   This is all in Public Records in Palm Beach County.

Apparently "Ben" doesn't know everything and should refrain from making comments that are false and misleading.

"Ben" is not providing the correct facts in this claim.

We haven't "scammed" anyone out of their money.  Property owner reimbursed Comcast for damage caused to their cable facility and if the laws of State of Florida and Palm Beach County were followed, this damage could have been avoided.   Sunshine One Call of Florida provides a one call number, 811, that will notify the utilities in the proposed area of "excavation" (Florida Statutue # 556.101) for FREE.   Comcast would have come out and located their facility for FREE so that this damage and interuption of service could have been avoided.

These are the true facts of this claim, please contact me with any questions, Randall S. Eckberg, 561-441-2894, email reckberg@rcoafl.com

To avoid causing any undeground damage please contact Sunshine One Call prior to doing any "excavation work" at 811.

Sincerely,

Randall S. Eckberg

The company who works for Comcast scams people out of there money. The wire which Comcast had put into the ground was and is not to code. The owner of the company had blackmailed us to the county which I handled it my self. He is now threatening me that I have 14 days to remove this which I won't because I have freedom of speech and freedom of the press. I will be more then happy to file a lawsuit for violation of my rights against the company.
