Complaint Review: Randy Marion Chevrolet

We took a company 1993 van in for rear brake shoes and they (Robin) called back with a $1,100 Estimate. I asked why so high when everyone else does brakes for $69 per side and they said the master cylinder and brake switch were also bad. Their price on the Master Cylinder was over $400 and you can get these for $37 all day long at Autozone and Napa. The brake switch is only $18. I wanted to pick the van up and they said they couldn't put it back together which is B.S. because they had to take nothing off for their diagnosis. This service department has a history of slaughtering people. Total labor according to Alldata and Mitchell on demand software is .9 hours for master cylinder, .5 for brake switch, 1.3 hours for shoes and drums. 2.7-3.0 hours maximum. They call them selves "The King of Price" they sure hit that one on the head....more like "The King of the Highest Price"...
