RankHigh John Cota SEO Service ripoff scammer Internet

John Cota is an internet scam artist. I bought a seo package from him and after 3 months my rankings for my website went down. He at first puts effort in just to get a positive feedback but as soon as you offer the positive feedback he puts your site on the back burner. This guy is one of ebay's biggest scam artists. He uses automated software which basically blacklists your website form google in the long run. He has made about $50000 in sales on ebay in the last 3 months.

Here is the guys homepage http://www.ebay.com/sch/rankhigh/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3686 all I have to say is do not buy any of these packages. The only reason that he has a powersell top rated seller status is because like I said before he is very responsive and courteous until he gets a positive feedback once you send him the positive feedback it goes down hill from there. He basically runs a ponzi scheme on ebay and this is how he does it.

If you are upset with his services he will use another uninformed buyers money to pay you off and then continue his scam. He will do anything not to jeopardize his feedback and keep scamming people. DO NOT BUY FROM JOHN COTA the guy is a scammer.

If your wondering why more people have not wrote about john its because $329 normal people wouldn't want to take the time to write something or admit that they were scammed.

DO NOT BUY FROM JOHN COTA HE IS A SCAMMER

If you look at his listing he claims number one spots for all sorts of websites but these were photoshopped if he were really that good and after 13 years you'd think his own SEO service main website would be number 1 for SEO Service. His website is linkexchangeteam.com but if you google 'SEO service' or 'SEO Website Service' or any other term you wont find his site anywhere not even within the first 30 pages.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS GUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY!!! BEWARE YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Here is his scam listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEO-Services-GUARANTEED-1-First-Page-Google-Ranking-/280695441723?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415ac0893b

This has not been my experience with John at all.

I am a customer of John's and I cannot believe what I am reading. I have used his SEO services on my websites for several years and John has always generated excellent results for them. He has also built five websites for me that are currently making anywhere from $1 to $7 a day. They all rank very high on Google and other search engines.

The person who is posting this slander against John seems to have a very aggressive agenda to try to destroy him. Anger and malice of this nature is not something that normally results from a $300 purchase. It is very obvious that the author of this slander is trying to ruin John's name and his business reputation.

John is very easy to reach by email, and I have never had any problems with his service, support, or communication. If there are ever any problems with my website that might cause Google to disapprove of its content, John emails me with details about what my web designer needs to change to make it more Google-friendly.

I did have a website that I bought on eBay that was cloned from another site, and at first John's SEO service didn't help it any. After looking into the problem to see why Google didn't like it, John helped me get rid of the duplicate content that was on it. Now it is ranking on the first page of Google for a popular keyword.

What your motives for posting these hateful slanderous posts are, I don't know - but I am guessing you are probably a jealous competitor of his on eBay and trying to get him shut down so you can get more work. Whatever the reason, your vicious posts are way over the top. It is obvious that you are out to destroy John for ulterior motives of some kind. You have even created multiple aliases to act like you are more than one person. Slick. Don't you have anything else to do with your life?

I just wanted to post this as an actual customer of John's. This is the opposite of the experience that I have had with him, and this is just wrong.

You are NOT one of my clients!

#12REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, January 09, 2012

You are NOT one of my clients. If you were, you would have contacted me and we would have resolved this long ago. I have told you to contact me and I would backup my guarantee, but you have not contacted me. It is easy to see what your motive is.

You are probably Warren Schaaf, some fool from the UK who stole my eBay ad and tried to clone it. You even changed your eBay ID to HighRankUK to mimic my eBay ID. At first you copied and pasted my ad, but you got busted for it. Then you sent me an email on 9/11/11 from one of my website saying you were going to destroy my reputation.

You are the scammer. I haven't scammed anyone. I resolve every issue that I have with any client who contacts me. You are not one of my clients, you are a stalker who obviously doesn't have enough brains to make a living. You were a window washer and you failed at that. Then you copied my SEO ad and got busted.

Karma is a b*tch. You can bet that your future will pay you back for trying to destroy someone else's life for no valid reason.

You see "Dylan" and all of the other aliases you have been using, everyone here can see right through your game. If you were one of my clients, I have given you ample opportunity to resolve any issue you have with my service. But that is not your goal - you are obviously out to destroy me out of envy and jealousy.

Why can't you just go to work like the rest of us do and make a living without trying to ruin someone else? You are the only scammer in this thread. I make things right with my clients, and you are not one of them. If you were I would have either gotten you a page-one Google ranking or a refund. That is my guarantee, and I stand behind 100%.

In conclusion, your efforts to destroy me have only helped me become more successful. I am now completing development of an affiliate network to resell my SEO services under dozens of different names. I've been doing business on the Internet for 13 years, and I realized long ago that it's like the wild west out here with crooks like you trying to destroy people for no legitimate reason other than envy, spite, or jealousy.

Thanks to your childish actions, I will soon have dozens of resellers sending me all the work I could ever handle. It doesn't matter how much time you waste trying to destroy my name - I am not relying on it anymore. Throw all the baby temper tantrums you want to now, nobody will be watching or paying any attention to you anymore. Good luck trying to track all my resellers down - you will have to waste every waking moment of your life to try to slander them all.

If anyone reads this and wants to become a reseller, feel free to contact me. However, you may need to get in line because I already have over a dozen candidates. With the very effective SEO service that I offer at such a low price with great support and a 100% guarantee of success, it will be very successful with my new affiliate network.

P.S. - I am also working on a new reputation management project to market to people who have had fools like you attempt to destroy their name and reputation. So make sure to contact me with a list of your other slander victims, they will probably need my services.

john cota scam - rankhigh ebay scam

#12Consumer Suggestion

Fri, November 25, 2011

John you have some cheek, "if that is your real name," you have replied to this post on the 20th of November but haven't replied to any of my emails via eBay demanding a refund during this time.

I signed up to your scam 7 months ago now and have seen no results, being experienced in SEO your auction "talks the talk," but doesn't "walk the walk," I'm ashamed to have been caught up in your lies but in the days when I purchased there was little to find against your charade company but now there's posts popping up on scam websites everywhere under the search terms "john cota scam," "rankhigh scam," on google.

The methods you use to promote a website don't have a hope in h**l of achieving top rankings, their merely a ploy to make persons believe something is happening, in effect your just wasting time so the 60 days pass leaving persons unable to leave feedback on eBay, how you'r still pulling this off I don't no but 1 thing I can assure you is "I will put a stop to it and won't stop until I succeed and prevent other's from being scammed!"

If you have already purchased in the past and John is still replying to your mails saying "bare with it you will start seeing results shortly," don't fall for it, put your claim in immediately and if possible leave negative feedback on eBay, this is the only way others will likely avoid this scam.

I have reported John Cota and Rankhigh to eBay fraud prevention team and the case has been passed on to higher management, they will be coming back to me shortly, should anyone else reading this wish to take action against this scam phone eBay (FREE) on 0800 3586552 for those within the UK (not sure for other countries, just google it).

John don't try and brass me off as one of your "competitors," as you have on multiple over scam related forums including this one, good try I admit but your days are numbered with this scam.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY JOHN COTA REPORT IT TO EBAY IMMEDIATELY, UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL, WE NEED TO GET HIS ACCOUNT CLOSED DOWN TO PREVENT OTHER'S FROM FALLING FOR THIS SCAM AND THERE'S STILL A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL GET A REFUND, IF NOT FROM JOHN HIMSELF FROM EBAY/ PAYPAL DIRECT BUT IT NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEAR THIS IS A SCAM!

I would like to set the record straight on this report. I've had lots of success using the RankHigh SEO services from John Cota on eBay. I purchased several packages and everyone of them got first page rankings as promised. If he doesn't get the results you don't pay its as simple as that. There is a lot of competition on eBay for SEO and the RankHigh package has been the most effective for me and believe me I have tried several! At any rate, I would just like to state my rebuttal and make it clear that his product does work very well as promised and if it doesn't he will refund you your money. There is no way that this is a rip-off, on the contrary it's a great deal and worth every penny from the money you can make once your at the top!

John Cota Gets Results!

#12Consumer Comment

Tue, October 18, 2011

I came to post rebuttal and share my experience. I purchase SEO package from John Cota on eBay and he got  my website to the top of Google within only a couple weeks. Since then my site has remained at the top for nearly six months now! I purchased the package back in 2010 originally and since referred two of my friends and they too also had great success. I thought it should be known that John Cota does get results and his eBay ad is for real! The author of this report was quoting his earnings and is likely just one of the many competitors and imitators of the RankHigh SEO Package. I will use it again in the future and will continue to recommend it to my friends. Again I think this report was a sham and probably just another competitor or imitation, have no worries it does get results.

The author of this report is a chronic plagiarizer! HE IS NOT ONE OF MY CLIENTS!!!

#12REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, September 12, 2011

I just found out who filed this Ripoff Report. His name is Michael, and he owns FreeNapkin.com. He asked me to evaluate his website on July 4, 2011, but he NEVER PURCHASED MY SERVICES FOR HIS WEBSITE. Instead, he attempted to clone my eBay ad and start up a copycat business because he thinks I made $50,000 in the last 90 days at this (I wish!).

I have learned that Michael is a chronic plagiarizer. His eLance from TreyMaker19 are all offers to pay people to clone and plagiarize other websites and copyrighted software programs!

Just take a look at his past eLance ads and you will see for yourself:

http://www.elance.com/e/treymaker19/

Again, the author of this Ripoff Report (Michael of FreeNapkin.com) IS NOT ONE OF MY CLIENTS AND NEVER HAS BEEN. He has never paid me a dime for my services. He owns FreeNapkin.com and lives in Minneapolis. His IP address I would post more personal information about Michael, but I am waiting until my attorney gets the lawsuit ready to sue Michael for slander and libel.

My attorney is also talking with the District Attorney about filing criminal charges. Michael's eBay ID is twitteradvertisingbuy and he has never purchased anything from me. Michael's false slanderous report is the only SCAM on this page.

Michael's IP address is 64.131.7.96, and his ISP is USFamily.netUSFamily.net. We have been in touch with them about using their services as a vehicle for this illegal slander, and they have ensured my attorney that they will fully cooperate with the authorities regarding this illegal malicious attack.

Report:  I just received this email from a client that I have completed over 12 SEO campaigns for his website:

John, I wanted to let you know that an eBay Seller sent me the following inquiry about your services. My reply is below it.

Steve

---------------------------------------

Steve,

I am emailing to ask about the SEO that you had done recently by ebay seller RANKHIGH. I wanted to ask you how your results were with this. Was the SEO good? Has your website moved high in the search rankings? Are there any catches to it or did you have any problems with the service at all? I am thinking about buying this product from rankhigh but the price ($329) seems so good to be true to guarantee a first page ranking on google cause most SEO companies are charging $4,000 to $6,000 to do this kind of SEO work. Any feedback from you would so be appreciated.

Thanks
(eBay ID removed for privacy)

Dear fellow eBayer,

John Cota's SEO service is wonderful.  A definite increase in SEO.  I'm sure the really expensive firms do a great job as well... but we have used him so many times for all of our websites.  What John does is worth every penny for your site!  We give him all of our websites. It is a great investment for your business!

I receive emails like this one from my clients all the time.

The fact is, most of my SEO work comes from repeat clients. But due to my success, I have become a target of copycat clone scammers such as the author of this ripoff report. This person sent me an email telling me he was going to slander my business because I contacted eLance and had his ad removed that was offering to pay someone to clone my sales ad! This is against eLance's and eBay's policies!! I reported his ad and got it removed, and now he is using this false slander to get back at me.

Look at the image below - it is a copy of his eLance ad.

This report is a false, slanderous attack from someone who got mad because he wasn't allowed to clone my eBay ad. Ask my real clients - I get results for them every day. Many of the websites that you visit when you search on Google are owned by my hundreds of clients. I get results - guaranteed, or your money back.

This report is nothing but false slander.

#12REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, September 12, 2011

For starters, this report was either written by one of my competitors, or by a client that didn't follow my instructions on how to modify their website in order to get it to the top of Google. Either way, none of it is true, and is nothing but an untrue malicious attack on my business and my reputation.

The fact is, there are a lot of scammers in the SEO industry, but I am not one of them. I have been doing search engine optimization for over 13 years now, and I get excellent results for over 95% of my clients. The only time I cannot get a website to the first page of Google for keywords associated with their website is if the client will not follow my advice. However, I offer a money-back guarantee if I cannot do what I promise.

I currently have hundreds of clients who enjoy thousands of #1 Google rankings for their websites. If I couldn't generate good results for them, I would have been put out of business long ago. You cannot believe one single anonymous posting on the Internet that slanders my business. Read the customer feedback on my eBay listings - I have been very successful because I do what I promise.

In addition, I offer a full 6-month money-back guarantee. If I cannot do what I promise, I refund the customer's money. I have done this on several rare occasions - but it was never because I couldn't do what I promised... it was due to the customer not being willing to remove duplicate and/or irrelevant content from there website. If you give me a website that doesnt violate Googles Guidelines, I can get it to the top of Google guaranteed.

Whenever I have clients say "Why am I not ranking high on Google yet?" a month or two after their SEO Campaign has been launched, I usually discover duplicate content on their website in 99% of the cases. Once they remove the duplicate content and replace it with relevant, unique content their rankings usually recover within a few weeks or months.

Google makes it very clear in their Webmaster Guidelines that they will choose only one of the pages that contain duplicate content to display in their search results, and the others will be ignored in the search results. The logic behind this policy is simple: Google does not want to frustrate its users by serving them duplicate pages when they are browsing the search results, because the user might leave Google and go to one of Google competitors to do their searches.

If this is truly one of my clients who wrote this malicious slander, I encourage you to send me an email so we can work things out. I get a lot of repeat business because I not only produce good results, but I also offer support after the work has been done. I would be more than happy to tell you why your website is not at the top of Google. If that is the case, chances are that it is filled with duplicate content and no SEO expert on earth could get a top Google ranking for you unless you are willing to replace the duplicate content with unique, relevant content.

Lets face it, not every website can get to the top of Google. I cringe when I see eBay sellers offering cookie-cutter websites that are cloned hundreds of times and sold to unsuspecting buyers such as yourself. They conveniently forget to inform you that these types of websites will never have a chance at a top Google ranking, simply because Google doesn't want duplicate content in their search results.

I cannot change Google's Guidelines - I just follow them. If you do the same, Google will reward you. If you don't, Google will penalize you. It's that simple. Please contact me so I can tell you why your website is not ranking at the top of Google. If you are who I think you are, you rejected my advice to replace the duplicate content on your website with unique content. I even offered to do it for you for free and have my writer re-write it for you. If you didn't take me up on the offer, that is not my fault.

My SEO Package offers many features and services that usually cost in the thousands, and mine is only in the hundreds. For example, I develop a complete s****.> I can usually get at least one first-page ranking on Google for clients within a few weeks, and they stay there! Within six months, most of my clients are ranking on the first page of Google for 15 out of the 20 keywords that I targeted for their SEO Campaign. In the very rare occasion that this doesn't happen, there is usually a problem with the client's website - and nine times out of ten it is related to duplicate content that was hijacked from another website.
