I WAS SERCHING THE WEB ONE EVENING AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME FOR A PERSONAL LOAN. i CAME ACROSS A LENDER AND SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION  IT W THE FIRST AS RAPID LOAN PROS SO I SUBMITTED MY INFORMATION WITH THEM. BEFORE I KNEW IT A GENTLEMAN MR.MARTIN CALLED ME BACK FROM THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANY. AT THAT POINT MR.MARTIN PROCEDDED TO TELL ME THAT I WAS APPROVED FOR A 2500.00 LOAN. THE TERMS WEWE 149.00 FOR 18 MONTHS AT A 3% .AT THAT POINT MR.MARTIN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NEED PROOF THAT I HAD THE FUNDS FOR THE FIRST MONTH. I WAS ASKED TO GO AND PURCHASE STEAM CARDS FROM WALMART IN THE AMOUNT OF 149.00. I HAD TO PURCHASE 3 STEAM CARDS IN THE AMOUNT OF 50.00 EACH. I ASKED IN OUR FIRST PHONE CONVERSATION WHY AND WHAT ARE STEAM CARDS AND WHY DO I NEED STEAM CARDS UNSTEAD OF VERIFYIND FUNDS THREW MY CHECKING ACCOUNT MR. MARTIN TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE USING THE STEAM CARDS  PROMATIONAL REASONS..

I CALLED  MR. MARTIN BACK AS ASKED AND SCRATCHED THE SECURITY CODES OFF OF THE BACK OF THE CARDS AND GAVE MR. MARTINIR HAS BEEN NO ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT. SO BEFORE I COULD CALL MR. MARTIN BACK HE CALLED ME. THE NUMBER FROM THE BACK OF THE STEAM CARDS. AND DURING THIS PROCESS I WAS ASKING FOR THE LOAN DOCUMENTS. I WAS TOLD I WOULD THE THE LOAN DOCUMENTS SOON. AFTER GIVING THE SECURITY CODE IN TOLD ME THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE NUMBERS I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD RECIEVE MY FUNDS BY A.C.H. IN 30- TO 45- MINUTES. I CALLED M I COULD BECAUSE I FELT THAT  THE APPROPRIATE Y BANK AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEIR HAD BEEN NO ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT. SO BEFORE I COULD CALL MR. MARTIN BACK HE CALLED ME.

AT THAT POINT HE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO PAY 250.00 FOR LOAN INSURANCE BEFORE THEY CAN RELEASE THE FUNDS AND I STATED THAT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEING DONE. SO I RELEASED THE CALL  THE COMPANY REP KEEPED CALLING THE NEXT DAY I RECIEVED ANOTHER CALL ABOUT THE 250.00 FOR THE INSURANCE ON THE LOAN. MR. MARTIN TOLD ME THAT I WOULD NOT BE ASKED TO PAY ANYTHING ELSE. I WAS NOT HAPPY AT THAT POINT I TOLD MR. MARTIN THAT I DID NOT FEEL RIGHT SENDING ANYMORE MONEY AT THIS POINT. I WAS TOLD THAT IF I WANTED TO I COULD JUST PAY 100.00 IN STEAM CARDS AND THEY WOULD PUT THE 149.00 BACK INTO THE LOAN. I WENT AND BOUGHT 2 MORE STEAM CARDS AT WALMART FOR 50.00 EACH AND CALLED MR. MARTIN AND GAVE HIM THE SECURITY CODES OFF OF THE BACK OF THE CARDS. AGAIN I RECIEVED ANOTHER CALL THE MR. MARTIN AND HE TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO PAY 150.00 FOR A LATE FEE. I ASKED HOW COULD I OWE A LATE FEE ON A LOAN THAT I NEVER RECIEVED ANY LOAN DOCUMENTS.....

I ASKED FOR MY 250.00 TO BE RETURNED TO ME THAT I WAS GOING TO CONTACT THE B.B.B. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND HEW EVER ELSE THAT I NEEDED TO CONTACT REGARDING THE ISSUES THAT I HAVE HAD WITH THERE COMPANY. I STILL HAVE THE 5 STEAM CARDS I PURCHASED AT WALMART. I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGAS FROM THE COMPANY REP MENTIONED ABOVE. AND IM STILL BEING TOLD I NEED TO PAY THE 150.00 LATE FEE BEFORE THEY WILL REFUND MY 250.00 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY REFUND.ISNT THIS CONSIDERED FRAUD ??? THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP THAT YOU COULD GIVE ME IN THIS MATTER.
