"Tony", representing Rapid Van Lines, is a textbook liar. I asked him repeatedly if he used company trucks and qualified experienced movers employed by Rapid van lines. He repeatedly lied to me outright, telling me everything that i wanted to hear. On the day of the move 3 guys that i can only describe as a "motley crew" showed up in a Penske rental truck to move my belongings. When i called Tony he acted surprised as if he had no idea what was going on. They then presented me with a contract from a different moving company; nothing had the company name Rapid Van Lines on it. They also charged me a $300 additional long carry fee and $600 in additional volume fees. That is $900 more than the original agreed upon quote. Unfortunately i had no choice but to proceed with the move since i needed to be half way across country by a specific date. To make matters even worse, when they finally showed up in Denver (a day late) there were only 2 guys to move my belongings in. After i helped them move all my things, basically negating the whole purpose of hiring movers, they didnt set up a single thing. Not my bed, not my kitchen table, nothing in my living room; not a SINGLE item.

Long story short, Tony is a complete liar and a scam artist that will take you to the cleaners if you're as naive as me. Hopefully karma will catch up with this guy.
