My experience is identical to those posted on 11/12/2006 9:38:33 AM and 12/28/2006 4:31:19 PM.

I ordered the Get Smart complete series on Oct. 24, 2006. My credit card was billed 2 days later ($112.99) and I received a confirmation notice stating that I would receive an email from Digital Realms when the item was shipped.

Three weeks later, I still heard nothing so I sent an email inquiry. The response was "Your order is awaiting shipment due to a slight backorder. The item should be shipped within the next 5 business days. You will receive a e-mail confirmation once the order has been shipped that will provide you with your tracking number."

Four weeks after that, I sent another email inquiry and received the same response.

When I call the customer support line (514-827-3837) a recording says to leave a message but the mailbox is always full.

Now, eleven weeks after my credit card was charged, they no longer respond to my emails. It is obvious that their intention is to defraud the public.

I will call my credit card company to warn them about doing business with Empiricalfilm.tv.

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it!Make sure theymake the Rip-off Report.. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
