I entered into an agreement with Raven Diesel Performance to rebuild my 2005 Ford truck in March of 2012. This was done as I was not able to purchase a new vehicle. In this agreement I was informed by Oscar Cardenas of Raven Diesel Performance that the entire project would take no longer than 45 days.

At the same time I was also informed that the work would come with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. At this time I was also told I would recieve all receipts for parts purchased as well as a written warrenty.

I maintained frequent contact with Raven from tha initial drop off date until I picked the truck up on August 21,2012.During this period I recieved a very good job of the run around as to why my truck was taking so long. When I finally did pick the truck up I noticed that the truck was smoking excessively. I questioned Oscar Cardenas( dba Raven Diesel Performance) about the smoking and he assured me it would go away with some driving. It only smoked worse as time went on.I made repeated calls, sent E-mail,with pictures as to my concerns with no responce!

I returned the truck to Raven Diesel Performance on December 23 2012. The truck was missing very badly as well as smoking badly. In addition to the front drive shaft had fallen off the transfer case and was laying on the cross member. The drive shaft was removed to allow the new clutch that was installed by R. D. P. Mr Cardenas informed me he would work on the truck right away abd have it fixed in a few days.

After many attempts over the next 3 months once again getting the run around as to why it was taking so long I was informed that my truck had been teken to the local Ford dealership. This was on March 11 2013. I went to the Ford dealership and talked to the service rep. I was informed that the truck was running VERY bad. I than agreed to let the dealership diagnose my truck . I learned later from the dealership that the engine was loosing compression on some of the cylinders. Upon further examination and removal of the cylinder heads that the wrong parts had been installed by whoever had rebuilt them. Guess who that was? Raven Diesel Performance!! Raven Diesel Performance was notified as to the problem and offered to do nothing.

The Ford dealership made the necessary repairs . This was at a cost of $8,764.20  We sent Raven Diesel Performance a certified letter explaining he had failed to follow the agreement. the letter was recieved on April 10 2013. I never recieved a responce.  $25,948.15 invested and still having issues with work and parts by Raven Diesel Performance. Think Twice!!
