I have seen some other reports on this website that indicate that when people ordered a CD for a small shipping and handling charge, they were unwittingly signed up for these memberships. I have not, nor have I ever, bought any of these CDs. This means that this company is now preying on completely unsuspecting people.

On Saturday, January 26th at approximately 8:30pm Central time, I began receiving emails from Rebate Millionaire, SurplusAlert, Free Gift Mart and BlogToolKit confirming my trial memberships. I was not even at home at the time that these emails claimed I signed up for the memberships.

The next day (Sunday, January 27th) I began trying to contact each company to cancel the membership and figure out how I was signed up to begin with. I was able to reach SurplusAlert, Free Gift Mart and BlogToolKit via phone and the memberships were canceled. I demanded an email in writing from each and received them so I have documentation. When I asked how the membership was created, I was told more than once that someone (they said it was me) went to the website and actually registered. As I said, I wasn't even home at that time to be able to do so.

I have NOT been able to get through to RebateMillionaire. Their 800 number is only available M-F 9am - 9pm Eastern. I began calling in the morning of Monday, January 28th and was not able to get through. I finally did get through and was told I was number 42 in the caller queue and had an estimated wait time of 35 minutes. I decided to wait, and eventually the music and announcer cut out, and I assume I was cut off. This makes me very wary that I will ever get to talk to someone live.

I have already contacted my credit card issuer and let them know to be on the lookout for possible fraud.

I am still totally baffled on how they got not only my email address, but my physical address and credit card number.

I would like to discuss Stephanie's concerns with her to insure that she is taken care of. Unfortunately, without a last name or an email address I cannot find her account with the necessary contact information.

First and foremost I offer an apology for the breakdown in service Stephanie obviously experienced. Our policy is to never charge anyone who is not interested the membership portion of the offer. Clients simply need to follow the instructions to contact customer support at 1 (800) 685-3011 Monday-Friday 9 am-9 pm and express a desire to cancel during the free trial period, or anytime thereafter.

If our support staff fails to offer the quality and professionalism that we expect to provide then I would personally like to know about it so that I can resolve the issue so that it doesn't continue to happen. I also guarantee to personally see to it that anyone who has had a negative experience with our staff or company is satisfied. I can be reached on my cell phone at 435-773-1795 or via email at ryanr@wskc.org. Once again, my apologies to Stephanie. Hopefully, I will hear from her soon so that we can get this resolved.
