I would not trust this dealership. I have a new vehicle that I hate, as I was offered a discount to buy, I bought, then, no discount given. They do not care about your satisfaction, but will take you to the cleaners. Best take a voice recorder as they will deny what they tell you, as well as, a yellow highlighter to go over your purchase agreement, or they will get over on you. They got me good. I was lied to, deceived, and now, they comment it is nothing to them. Beware. Try to have them honor "good faith in honesty & trust". Now I have a new vehicle, that I absolutely hate, thanks to their deception. Beware. I was told to sign a blank paper when I wanted the extended warranty refunded since they refused to honor the discount they promised! I am so I absolutely upset, I cannot drive the vehicle without becoming nauseated & vomit. Every commercial Skillman advertises makes me sick too. Just beware. Ford Moter Company is aware of the issues yet do nothing. It is a scam all the way. Where is my brand new explorer? In the body shop, because the passenger door that popped open yesterday while driving, and pops open even when locked, is bent and twisted frame. So, my new vehicle has a bent framing of the passenger door! Though it is a brand new vehicle, I have to give a 50.00 dollar deposit to get a loaner car? Well, my new vehicle is at body shop, I have no vehicle. This is just the tip of the multipe issues at hand that someone will experience . The stress of this purchase of a brand new vehicle has caused much chest pain, anxiety, tears, and vomiting. They back dated the contract purchase date, back dated the title, and actually stole 2 days of my new vehicle warranty by doing so. If you finance with Ford Motor Credit, they cannot do anything about the dealership's deceptions, false statements, or refusals to do what they say they will do. Skillman is so big, a customer, a regular customer, is just a flake of dust beneath their feet. Please beware. No one deserves to be deceived, lied to, or taken advantage of . Dear God, please beware. I went to pick up the Explorer 1.18.19 as they said the door was fixed, but they would not give me the paper work to show me what they did to my vehicle. So what are they hiding? I cannot take this scandalous place any longer. Today 1.18.19 I handed the keys back to Cornell Wilson, salesman, as Tom Ackerly, finance guy, rants and raves, "You bringing it back, you bringing it back?" With glee. These people are sadistic, and refusing my right to cancel the extended warranty. Oh, Tom wanted me to sign a blank piece of paper to cancel it. I am not signing a blank peice of paper, in order to cancel my warranty. So 40 years of excellent credit down tub because of being ripped off, lied to, and literally treated like dirt by Ray Skillman Ford. Beware. https://youtu.be/xJeoV5pY1Ko

Terms of the Agreement

Your hate of the vehicle and dissatisfaction of not receiving a discount are a case of buyer’s remorse. Is the discount noted in the sales agreement? A voice recorder would not have been beneficial because the recording would have contained the negotiations but the written and signed sales agreement would contain the final terms that were agreed to by both parties.

All new vehicles include a manufacturer’s warranty so it’s unclear why you initially agreed to purchase an extended warranty. Your chest pain, anxiety, nausea, vomiting and tears are personal health issues and therefore not the fault of the auto dealer.

The manufacturer should accept responsibility for repair of the passenger door. Does the dealer agreement include a clause that provides a loaner vehicle while your vehicle is being serviced? Your signature on the sales agreement indicates your confirmation that the contract date is correct.

You may very well have valid complaints but if you refuse to honor the terms of the sales agreement your credit will be adversely affected. Has the dealer violated the terms of the written and signed sales agreement?

There were 2 documents, one of which was purchase, one printed as contract. When asked about the discounts, told it was one the types form. I agreed for warranty extension as I was "getting the 5000.00 off price of vehicle. However, the discount was not given. Therefore, I requested the warranty refunded.

The title bbn is not seen, as they mail it to you, and the typing date looked correct.. Noted date incorrect on title paper when received, which lead to to look at contract, which was dated incorrect as well. This issue is so stupid. I asked for explorer, black interior & tan interior. Since they could not find tan interior, Cornell Wilson stated he would give me the Explorer for 5000.00 off price if I would take the black one.

After careful thought, I accepted the discount to use for the warranty cost. However, as they refused to honor the discount, I asked for refund of warranty, and was denied. Though contract states I can cancel at any time. Only dealerships can cancel but they refuse. They fail to honor the contract. I requested for warranty removal, as they will not honor the discount, then I walk away never to return.

But they will not do that. Bottom line, Ray Skillman Ford uses deceptive means to sell a vehicle, with no intention to fulfill their offer. The treatment given after purchase is less than respectful. My point, my experience & loss is upsetting .

Whty did you buy the car? All the prices would have been line items on the sales contract! Did you even bother to READ that contract BEFORE you agreed to the terms? You act like you were forced into this deal when in reality, YOU could have objected to the terms and NOT agreed!

My guess is you didn't even bother to read the contract before you signed it!
