Raymond Gregoline Total Con - Do Not Give Him Any Deposit Indianapolis Indiana
I contacted Ray Gregoline through an ebay ad. Found out later that ebay had closed his original account and he was now operating there under a new one. He seemed like a really nice guy - gave me a great quote on transporting a car up north from the south. His terms was a $100 "completely refundable deposit" through paypal, which I sent.
I inadvertabtly gave his number to another individual I know who wanted a car transported to the deep south. Again, Greg was friendly and gave this other individual a great quote. Both of us send the "refundable" deposit through paypal......and then Greg disappeared. Would not return any calls, emails, texts - nothing. Neither of us knew if he had even booked a transporter and our deadline was a week away (he didn't).
After unsuccessfully attempting to contact him, I filed a complaint with paypal and emailed him a final time requesting he refund my deposit. Again, no response. The other party DID hear from him in a brief return call. He told him he would refund the deposit in the "next day or so". Its been almost 2 weeks and still no refunds to either of us. My guess is he will drag this out as long as he can - and thats IF he surfaces or refunds anything.
Very sad as I do alot of auto transporting - just booked 2 more today. My guess is he books them too cheap, cant find any driver to take the job, then disappears. Either way, he's a con in my book and I will tell anyone who asks at this point.
