Complaint Review: RBSN Services Type America

The email I received: I am in need of some Compilers to gather names and addresses off of the Internet daily and process the info and forward it to Type America for payment. Very simple to do. Subject: 1725 Job

What I found out: I paid $9 to get the compiler kit and this is what it was. The first was the master copy of the Type America information from the web site. The second was how to create your own web page with there information and to place ads. The third email was more advertising about being a compiler, however, the ad added this "There is a never-ending demand for home compilers. YOu can make a part-time income with little effort. Look into places where you can place free classified or bulletin board advertising." NOT TYPING. The fourth was the bonus plan to get more people with this ad. The fifth was a list of sites with more classified ads.

This was not a job as advertised. I did not as they put it "We need local compilers to SECURE & OBTAIN and type our exclusive mailing lists in nearly every city of the country and we are not about to open thousands of offices nationwide."
