Complaint Review: RC Pro Fix It Shop

  Against my better judgment i bought a console from this guy . As soon as i got it home i had issues with the disk drive. So i cleaned everything land it seemed to be ok for about 2 weeks thats when it rrod on me. Heres where i shouldve taken the system back but didnt. I call his shop his wife says they fix it for free because i bought it there. GREAT ! NOT talked to the owner he wants 40 to 80 bucks on top of the 150 i payed for a used (modified) console already. I know stupid me. The guy claimed to have done repairs and modifications to the system following microsoft procedure and actually did nothing more than what one could do them selves by watching a tutorial on you tube. A temporary rrod fix called the xclamp fix just to get the system out of his shop. He claimed to have used his own seals he uses no seals . He calims to do the warranty work for microsoft he infact DOES NOT! So dont be fooled by this place they are misleading and will get the better end of the deal. And then after dropping my system off to have him take a look at it he texts my phone for 3 days literally harrassing me about opening my console. I never asked this guy to cover it under a warranty i never asked this guy for a refund . What legitimate and professional business calls and hand texts theyre customers to ridicule and harrass them ? The guy was mad bcuz i exposed his hoax and called him out on it so now im S.O.L. on 150 bucks and have a valuable lesson learned . SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE . BUY NEW AND ONLY SHIP TO MICROSOFT FOR REPAIRS. I contacted microsoft personally about this guy he is not legit ! I also know of another guy who took his system in for repairs and was returned the wrong system. The guy took in a rrod PRo model and was given a still broken arcade model. He contacted local police who made the pro shop return the money for the repairs but my buddy still bit the big one on his xbox.
