RC Willey - Reno Nevada Flooring Depr Michelle Dean Scott Landon John Banon Scott Hymus Forced me to pay $22,000 up front to schedule installation of floors and then did not do the job Reno Nevada
I went to a national company expecting fair pricing and service. What I got was a rip off. Thr floor sales person insisted I pay the entire cost of the installation of floors in my home before the installation could be scheduled. I found out from the finance department at RC Willey that this is not the policy. Once I paid, a man named Oscar at Empire Flooring began to give me trouble right away. I had to fly into Reno area from LA to make sure everything was specifically as the flooring company insisted including completely moving out of my home before they would do any work. I actually had to carry in the materials into the home because Oscar brought a sick woman with home to carry in over 30 50 pound boxes of flooring while he sat in the truck and watched. Finally, after leaving the job site on at least one occasion, the work began. Almost immediately Oscar tried to charge me additional fees to do the install. Remember, I paid $22k up front to RC Willey to get the floors installed to begin with. At the end, the job was not completed with about 15% of the total work un touched. When I inquired to Oscar and Michelle at RC Willey why the work wasn't doesn't I was yelled at and told it was my fault. As it stands, RC Willey hasn't finished the work and owes me about $10,000 in materials and labor costs that have not been delivered. I would love to make sure no one ever does business with these people and this company. It is not going to be worth your time and money and you will almost certainly be treated as poorly as I am being treated. I tried calling the store manager, regional manager, VP of Customer Service, and CEO of RC Willey and none of these people respond. I have left no fewer than 3 messages for each person over the past month. No reply from anyone.
