I bought a RCA 37" LCD HD tv last year. Since the I have had it working maybe 4 months. I have had it in the repair center for a bad scaler module now for 6 months. I got the tv back from repair center and it worked for 2 months. Now it is sitting there once again for repair or DUMP status. I have contacted RCA about this issue and keep getting refered to Thompson. Well all i get is an email address that does not seem to work real well. Anyone have a better contact there? My warrenty has already expired and my tv is still messed up.

I have always been a rca fan until now. I will never again buy anything that says RCA. I am considering this a "lemon" of a tv and am seriousily considering talking to a lawyer in this matter. maybe then someone will respond to an email or a phone call. If anyone else has a better idea please feel free to let me know.r

As of today 4/9/2008 i made a call to Thomson (RCA) concerning this issue once again. I was told that i had to fax in my receipt for the tv along with the completed warranty work order and that they would take 3 to 5 day to make a decision on wether or not to replace my tv out of warranty. I am not real happy with the 3 to 5 days waiting time on a "possible" replacement. As far as i am now concerned i have been ripped off by this company and will file grievances with the State of Georgia and the BBB and whatever other group i can find. Maybe if enough of us get together on this issue maybe we can get the problem solved or the company boycotted here in the US to prevent this from happening to others.

If you go to ANY of the electronic/tv boards on the web you will discover that RCA is at the very BOTTOM of the lists for quality, reliability, service, etc. They have not been a major player in several years now. Anyone purchasing an RCA product has virtually thrown their money away.
