Complaint Review: Reader's Digest-AIG Annuity Insurance Co.-Ben Hainsworth

We were almost scammed, my wife received a letter in the mail telling her she won $107,052.00 in "their" sweepstake draw, being curious like we are,we contacted our bank to see if this was for real, guess what?, it's not. We contacted the company that we were suppose to and they told us that everything was fine and good. Also, they told us to call back after the fact being that we found out it was a scam. Well I went one step further and contacted AIG about the check issued under their name, they told me the policy number before I could get it out, it's a scam people, don't try to cash that check because it isn't worth the ink or paper it's on!
