I have received a check for $4,870 with a letter from Jonathan Walsh (Prize disbursement). The letter states that I need to call Matt Brown or Erika Cohn at: 1-778-319-7600 to activate the claim. The letter is from Reader's Digest and the check is from Safeco Insurance Companies. The letter goes on saying that I've actually won $250,000

The check has a lot of information on it.

On the check stub, it states that I'm have a policy (which I don't), and that this transaction is a partial withdrawal.

I actually called the number on the letter and it sounded like some guy from India - strange background noises. He kind of laughed and said 'yeah, you won 250,000'. I laughed back and said to just send the cash.
