Reading Associates of America I had a young girl come to my house on a cold dark night around 8pm. She went into her spill of how she was trying to get a schollarship and really wanted to win this contest. I just had to buy maga Cash Scam Colorado Springs, Colorado
On April 5th 2009 I had a young girl come to my door. It was about 8pm and cold and dark outside. She started on her spill about selling magazines to win the contest for a trip and a schollarship to college. She then said she was freezing and asked if she could come in. I felt sorry for her as she had no coat on, so I let her in to warm. She continued on that in order for her to win I would need to at least buy $24 worth of magazines. I chose two to help the gal out, which equaled $38. As I started to write the check, she advised me that they get more points for cash if I could do that and she would give me a receipt and said I will get my magazines in a couple of weeks, but to be patient it could take up to a month to process them.
I filed the receipts in my filing cabinet and waited and waited but the magazines never came. So I did a search for the company on line because the receipt did not list a phone number nor a physical address. Just a po box. I can not find any information on this company and am still out $38. A year later I still have never received a magazine. I am very poor and gave her the last of my money for that week thinking I was doing a good deed for a child. It is very sad that they have teens scamming people for money! I would like to see resolution for this, but now sure where to turn without spending big bucks. My 13 yr old son witnessed this as well, as one of the magazines he picked out. I will never trust another person that comes to my door thanks to this company!
