We got ripped off by the associates. We, my husband and I had a new air condition installed in our home. The company that installed it used the Associates to finance it. It went thru we got the unit installed. A few days later I got a phone call from the Associates a guy named Jonathan. He asked if I would be interested in refinancing our home and get about 10 thousand dollars maybe more in equity. I told him that if we got a better deal then what we were paying we would go for it. I had read in the news paper that interest was at a low 7 percent. So I thought it could be possible. He also said we could close the deal in about 10 working days.

He called and stated that it was taking a little longer. Then he called again and said we might not get the 10,000 maybe a little less. At the time my husband told me and him to just leave it alone. He called again and said he got a real good deal we could pay the house in 15 years instead of 30 and the payment would go up just a little. I didn't think a big company like the associates would rip us off. wrong. We had been paying 550.00 A month with F. T mortgage and that included tax and insurance.

Johnnathon never told me the payment did not include tax and insurance. The bottom line is that our house payment went up to 750.00 no insurance no tax included. WE got no equity the equity we were supposed to get went to a life insurance he tricked Mike into signing, right down to the penny. I took the case to a lawyer and he said it was real estate fraud.

I purchased 4 rental properties from Mountain Mortgage and refinanced with Associates aka Citifinacial. After all this I found out Mountain Mortgage had did alot of fraud to me and I reported Mountain Mortgage to the state and had their license revoked now the FBI is investigating them and will probably be prosecuted in the near future.

I found out the houses are only worth 1/3 of the appraisal's and there was so much wrong with the houses I was collecting 2000 a month from rents and some months spending 3,000 a month.

In the mean time I had told Associates what was going on with the properties and why I was getting behind on the payments and would pay as soon as I could. This didn't matter to Associates sometimes I would get 8 to 12 phone calls a day from Associates at work for the payments I told them by law they couldn't call and they could care less. They would even call me at home up to 4 or 8 times I would get cussed out by the Associates creditors etc.

By that time I had gotten a lawyer to work on the fraud case with Mountain Mortgage and it was then Associates worked with my lawyer. Associates did a modification which they added the late payments to my loan and lower the interest which didn't help they also don't do escrow so I had to pay insurance and taxes separate.

At the signing of the modification they had me sign papers that I would'nt sue(something my lawyer never should have let me sign) Associates also charge me 400 for each house for an appraisal they never did which I tried to get a copy of an all they did was send me the original apppraisals that Mountain Mortgage had did 2 years before.

Back in Nov because I was so late on making payments Associates sold one of the loans to a loan company who never sent me a payment book and I found out in July just went and put the house in their name (they did no foreclosure or sherrif sale just took it).

So now because of what Mountain Mortgage did and Associates did I'm going to have to file bankruptcy down the road and loss everything including my house that I own.

Just last July I found out my lawyer was signing Judges names on documents and is being arrested and has been going to court. Even though my lawyer has malpractice Insurance and everyone else has insurance it's such a big case I can't find any lawyer to take it and one lawyer will not go against another lawyer anyway so there is no hope I will just file bankruptcy and loss everything. I jsut know I wouldn't even have Associates AKA Citifinacial loan me money to buy a light bulb.
