Complaint Review: Real Gold Soft

Last night I was using my home computer and a pop up screen came up and then the screen went fuzzy and the colors changed and a box came up and stated that I had several viruses (Trojan, etc.) and to remove the viruses I had to choose an option of $49.95 for 2 years certificate or $99.95 for a lifetime certificate..... well I chose the $49.95 option and entered all of my information and confirmed and watched as the viruses just were wiped right off my computer rather quickly.  Well anyone who has had a virus on their computer knows that this doesnt happen in seconds so we became a little suspicous...... so we googled the company and found that there were scams from others out there with the same issues as ours..... I called the Credit Union first thing this morning to cancel my credit card and to report that I was scammed and they stated that the payment was in a hold status and they could not do anything until the charge cleared but they also tried to find a phone number for me to contact this company and they told me to let them know that the card was cancelled and that I wanted my money back!!  I called REAL GOLD SOFT at 1-800-507-4599 and after waiting on hold for close to 10 minutes spoke with SANDY at EXT 320 and after giving her an earful of what I thought about the company that she works for informed her that I was DEMANDING a refund for the FRAUD services that they offered me..... she informed me that I would receive a refund within 5 - 10 business days.  I did inform her that they were being reported for the FRAUD services that they offer and that if I didnt see a refund in 5 - 10 business days that I would be contacting legal services to close their company down..... I hope that my experiences will save others from the same headaches that I have had over the last 2 days.....
