Complaint Review: Real Handyman Service

I contacted the Real Handyman Service in March of 2018 to repair and remodel my home after Hurricane Harvey. Real Handyman Service is listed in The Observer of yourspringnews.com. Angies list. Mr. Samuel Stephen Weaver came out and gave us a quote of 5000.00 and we pay for the material with 2000.00 down payment. The next week we gave Mr. Weaver 2000.00 and he started to do some of the needed repairs but he also only work a couple of hours a day. So the next week he stated he was finishing a big job and he will start next week with his crew. The contract was for him to only finish the master bedroom master bathroom and kitchen. He also stated he do custom cabinets because we needed cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen which we never saw and he stated he had. One day he call and said Amy L Osborne will be doing all the painting and he quoted 600.00 to complete and we also gave her a check for 400.00 because she did paint the master bedroom and kitchen and we never saw her again.

The following week Mr. Stephen called with a proposition that he will do bathroom everything for 1500.00 and plus material which included a tub. Well I again paid him a 1000.00 check to get started after a couple of days he finally came out and put in a tub and build the base around it however he stated the tub was new and its not and plus its the same tub in his house on the trulia.com website that he charge 400.00 for. Mr. Weaver decided to procrastinate the repairs even longer so he sent a couple of guys to hang doors which was not in the contract and stated it was ok because we was being patient. He is a true stare in the face thief with them kids right along with him a son he called Chad..and his cousin or friend Chester.

Finally we decided not to give him anymore money that he needed to pay his labors so he stated and that is when the next week it was something different everyday until now no response and I started digging into his name and address and he is under several name with same complaint. In all we paid Mr. Stephen over 3000.00 and he did not even do that much work to show for it plus I have a garage full of tile and a back yard full of paint splash everywhere. He needs to stop and I need to be refunded. So for over 3000.00 he hung doors and half remove tile off floor because he didn't have the equipment he calimed he had and half put up crown molding and base boards in the master bedroom. I have been waiting almost a year and this is the second contractor to Rip me off after I give them what they ask so I can start living in my home again. I am tired of these contractors and nobody can't seem to stop the in they tracks. Please beware of the family at 28803 Aberdeen in Magnolia Texas the whole family is corrupt. They have been doing this for over 10 years they need to be stop. The Weaver family beware of them Catherine Weaver Samuel Stephen Weaver Sr Rebecca Rivera Triplett Amy L Osborne my god the list goes on please beware because they change names once they are caught of all their lies.
