Real Pro Rehab, Inc. makes makes money by providing low, affordable quotes to its clients and then, through a series of extraordinarily high 'change orders', exceeds the price quoted exponentially. Further, the workmanship is deplorable. Uneven floors, walls and chipping paint. When questioned, Mr. Robinson will simply stop working until he is paid (and the payment clears), leaving the home owner in dire straights.

The workmanship is poor. Mr. Robinson is a licensed builder, but he doesn't do majority of the work. His team does most of the work, but it is unprofessional and sloppy. The project which was supposed to take 3 months, took over a year, at such time, Mr. Robinson and his team simply stopped working.

RealPro Rehab uses inferior products (wood, paint, plaster), thereby creating an inferior building. Painted surfaces were chipping off within months of application. Outside siding was not incomplete. Wooden floors are uneven and are separating within the first year. Walls are uneven (leading to a problem installing new cabinetry). Tiles are wobbly and uneven. Floor surfaces from room to room do not meet. Floors are not straight. Wooden surfaces are not smooth and must be sanded. The deck was built on a slant, leaning away from the house and the boards were installed upside down, so that water collects in the wooden planks whenever it rains. The basement has a water problem as well because the addition was not sealed to the house properly.

With 80% of the work done and only a small final payment due, Mr. Robinson understood that there would be no more change orders accepted. Knowing the homeowner believes that his workmanship is inferior and is unhappy, Mr. Robinson simply stopped showing up at the house to finish the work. Rather, he hired an attorney to put a mechanic's lien on the house and to try to get the final payment from the home owner, even though the work was incomplete. Needless to say, the lien was rejected.

Mr. Robinson left this homeowner with an unfinished project and property in a hazardous condition. He left nails, tools, bails of hay with stakes through them and truckloads of wood and other building debris. The homeowner has had to spend thousands of dollars, just to clean up the mess and fix some of the major construction issues.

Real Pro Rehab, Inc. simply costs too much. The pain in dealing with Mr. Robinson, the building process, and fixing all of the construction problems afterwards are truly financially and psychologically taxing.

Real Pro Rehab Does Great Work!

#7Consumer Comment

I have been a customer of Real Pro Rehab, and have had several jobs done by this company. I am here to say that the work that Mr. Robinson did for me was amazing and the finishes on his work truely were professionally done. Not only does Mr. Robinson work hard right along with his crew, but he also makes great suggestions on how a design might be improved upon.

Mr. Robinson installed a brand new kitchen, two bathrooms and a wonderful addition to one of my properties.

On another one of my properties Mr. Robinson added an addition to three level house which gave me an extra bedroom in all three apartments. The work was done in a timely fashion and the quality of work was great.

His work is professional, he cleans up after the work is done and I have recommended him to many of my friends. He is an honorable person and I wish I could find a contracter of his calibre here in Miami where I relocated recently.

I 've found that the work that Mr. Robinson and his crew has done for me helped me to greatly improve the equity in my properties, I received  a great return on my investments.

The report filed and posted is from someone who clearly wants to bring a 21 year old
business down. We find it odd the person is anonymous, and has not provided location of job site.
As a honest, talented business we always provide customers with quality work. Now for the
ANONYMOUS PERSON of this FALSE REPORT please disclose your name and address. In doing
so Real Pro can produce photographs of all of our work from start to finish on projects completed in the past 5 years. I think this would give readers of your RIP OFF REPORT a chance to see what kind of work Real Pro does and how far from the truth this report is.
I really believe the only way to submit a response is to know Who or at least what
project we are talking about. This would certainly give us good contractors a way to defend such
unfair attacks. These false reports are certainly not helping other consumers, rather hurting them by steering them away from a contractor that can give them quality improvements for affordable prices in these times.

Thank You,
Real Pro
