 Real Property Management in East Valley is horrible! I signed a least back in March 2012 and things have gone wrong since the start.  For one this place was rented to us infested with cockroaches!!!!! oh but per the lease I am responsible for pest control...BS! 

Everytime I called to get something fixed it took weeks even months to get a response.  Sometimes they just helped themselves to my house unannounced to fix it.  I never got a call with a work order, nor did I recieve a letter.  I asked them why they would jut show up and this is what they said "we tried to call you but you didn't have a voicemail and we have a small time frame to fix the problem so we sent the maintanence over."  I have no phone records showing a call from the office! and the time frame was way over due since we called in 3 months ago. 

One problem we were having and still do is the smoke detectors...these things would go off in the middle of the night every night.  I call and report a problem but no one answers the phone, this being the emergency mainantence line and no one ever answers it.  No one called me back about the smoke detecotrs.  I called the office 5 times that month, once a week and finally got some one on the phone.  they sent a guy over and all he did was put new batteries in.  2 days later they went off again in middle of the night waking my family up.  I called again to report the problem and once again no one answered and no one called us back.  2 months went by efore we got ahold of someone, then it took them 2 weeks to come and fix it.  this time they replaced them all but one with new alarms.  1 week goes by and sure enough they go off again in the middle of the night and we start this the phone calls with no response.  They are still not fixed to this day and never will be. 

They did the routine inspection with the proper letter in the mail, but when they were done there were no notes on what was needed to be fixed.  All we had was a blank sheet of paper with a signature on it, that's it.  A month goes by and some man shows up to fix our sink saying he had a work order for it.  We never put one in and asked where it came from.  Come to find out it was from the inspection.  We never had a work order written on our copy.  I called the office and reported it but they just didn't care. 

Our lease expired and we went from month to month as we looked for a new place.  During this time we had a man show up with keys in hand and tried to let himself into our house unannounced!!!  He said it was routine when leases expire to check to see if anyone lived here still.  I just paid rent yesterday!!  I called again to complain and was told he was not suppose to enter the house.  I don't think they did anything about it.  Now its move out time and the leasing agent showed up at our place unannounced to do a walk out inspection while we were still packing and cleaning.  She is not allowed to do this untill the keys have been turned in and with us present with her.  I really wish I knew how to take legal action with them just to prevent this kind of stuff in future with other tenants.
