The doll was received with a small amount of damage. I contacted RLSD about how to fix it, and I am still waiting for an answer. i was told the issue would be forwarded to management, etc. The doll further degraded while waiting for said answer and is now broken despite normal usage and proper care and handling. I provided pictures and requested a refund after the item broke during normal to light use, and was refused.I believe the item to be defective and substandard.

Yes, I registered for TDF. I attempted to post a review about the defective product I received but the admins would not allow it. The owner of TDF is a doll reseller. And she will not allow any negative reviewd about resellers.

I ordered a dollvfrom them. After owning it forbonly a few weeks, the hip joint broke. I contacted customer support and they told me to dispose of it and they would send a new one asap. It has been 10 days. I can't get any updates. No tracking information. If it was shipped asap, i would have tracking information by now. It only took 7 days from order to receipt of the origibal doll.

RLSD can't get their story straight.

 As posted by RLSD:

"The doll had been ripped up the middle essentially opening up the torso of the doll from the back around the genital area up to the front."

Yes, this was indicative of the sub-standard TPE formula used. The doll was not put into any unrealistic positions, and has been stored on it's back 95%+ of the time, as it was delivered and according to general best practices.

"The customer reported he continued to use the doll even after these horrible injuries that were inflicted."

The original damaged was noted to the toe area. I was told via email that a solution would be forth coming. Have still not received solution to original complaint almost a year later. Further visible damage was due to unreasonable and premature degradation of both TPE material and sub-standard welding on skeleton. Doll has been properly cared for according to best practices and included instructions.

"The instability due to lack of structural support along with the stress of continued use of the open body caused the skeleton to break at the hip."

The skeleton supports the TPE skin material, not the other way around. The hip broke due to poor welding and the weight of the doll itself, suggesting an inadequate weld or even possibly an inadequate skeleton. Further more the "open body" refers to the genitals, which are molded as such.

"The reported peeling skin was caused by an unknown chemical the customer used to remove and change the fingernails of the doll."

I used no material to remove either the toe nor fingernails, and some peeling skin also occurred around the navel. This once again suggests a sub-standard TPE mixture.

"Our Quality Guarantee does not cover user inflicted damage due to mishandling or lack of care.  We are also unable to provide repair advice as the doll is completely destroyed and beyond any repair. "

The doll arrived with minor damage and repair instructions for that were never given, let alone the subsequent degradation observed as time when on, despite proper care and handling. The doll has shown further degradation despite proper care and storage.

"This customer's claims have been determined to be unfounded by the BBB, TDF, Paypal, the customer's credit card company, RLSD LP and the manufacturer, WM Dolls."

  • Paypal and most major credit cards require returning the defective product, at the customers expense, to it's place of purchase. Shipping a 120+ lb doll to it's place of origin, China, is both unreasonable and suggestive of predatory business practices on behalf of the seller.
  • TDF AKA The Doll Forum has demonstrated a history of deleting, locking, and or hiding threads which cast a bad light or call into question any of the sellers that participate on the forum. I have experienced this first hand. RLSD also stated the would release the images of the doll, taken at their request, to said forum, and claim I had caused this damage to the doll.
  • Furthermore, WM Dolls is a Chinese based company, and thus not under the jurisdiction of any US laws.

Fraudulent Claim

#7REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, October 16, 2018

Based on customer photos, video, and testimony we, along with the manufacturer had carefully evaluated this case and deemed this doll to be horribly abused and the damage to be user inflicted and not illegible for refund or replacement.     The doll had been ripped up the middle essentially opening up the torso of the doll from the back around the genital area up to the front. The customer reported he continued to use the doll even after these horrible injuries that were inflicted.  The instability due to lack of structural support along with the stress of continued use of the open body caused the skeleton to break at the hip.  The reported peeling skin was caused by an unknown chemical the customer used to remove and change the fingernails of the doll.   Our Quality Guarantee does not cover user inflicted damage due to mishandling or lack of care.  We are also unable to provide repair advice as the doll is completely destroyed and beyond any repair.

This customer's claims have been determined to be unfounded by the BBB, TDF, Paypal, the customer's credit card company, RLSD LP and the manufacturer, WM Dolls.

Normal use would be 2-4 times a day. If not on her back she was supported with multiple pillows. She was cleaned and powdered afterward.
