Complaint Review: Realty Link Calgary AB

Realty Link is a company that handles property for people looking for tenants to rent it. Obviously they make a percentage of what the homes rent for monthly.

This company handled a home we were interested in renting. We asked to fill out an application, and against our knowledge we were given a lease. When we noticed this, we were told there was no way out of the leas except to pay the rental fees for the length of the lease (one year = in excess of $14,000).

The company representatives were totally unprofessional and unwilling to compromise or come to any sort of agreement. The agent we dealt with also spoke very bad English and would explode into screaming fits whenever we would try to tal to him about this issue.

We later found out a friend of ours had also been taken by this company. We are currently discussing with lawyers what options we have, but it doesn't look good.
