Ellen/Alisha,

This is another clear case of your inability to read and understand what people are saying.  The Consumer Comment that you decided to reply to states in the first line that he is NOT A CLIENT and DID NOT SIGN UP.  If you continue to spread libelous rumors online, we will take legal action.  Internet and Florida Law states that if a person or entity posts FALSE damaging blogs or comments, that the person who posts them can be sued, especially ex-contractors.  Make your choices wisely as we compile our case and in the meantime if any client has another questions about our business, please feel free to contact us on our website or 800 number.

My Experience with Realty Properties

#5Consumer Comment

Wed, January 06, 2010

Fortunately, I did not send $1450 for Realty Properties to list my timeshare as I did a lot of research instead of succumbing to the very high pressure sales pitch that the contract needed to be in "today, as they have people (from Europe, because the Euro to Dollar exchange rate is high!) waiting" and needed my property.  Of course, this is the first indicator that the deal is suspect - has to be done now, no thinking; the agent even asked me to call my wife right now, at work, and get her approval.

The agent promised "full refund after 6 months" if not sold, this is not what the contract says, read it.

The agent estimated my timeshare to be worth (my estimate) 10 times what it is worth after me only answering 4 of her questions.  The agent's estimate was 33% higher than my original purchase price.  Now come on, how many timeshares are worth more than they were purchased 10 years ago?  The contract specifically states that R.P. does not provide estimates, so you can't hold that against them should you sign and send money.

The agent stated that one of the reasons they are so successful is that they bring in financing - "that's how they make money on the deal".  Read the contract, they bring in nothing as part of the sale, the seller and buyer need to close the contract, they are an advertiser not an agent.

My advice is to keep your money and list with an agent that doesn't  charge up front, stay away from deals like this.  If you can't do that, read the contract and know what services you are getting; take everything the agent tells you and throw it away, the deal is in the contract.

False, Libelous Remarks from an Angry, Clearly Uneducated former Contractor

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, January 06, 2010

This uneducated, vagrant, ex-sales representative was released due to one of the following reasons: continued absenteeism, violation of organizational drug and alcohol policies, and inability to perform the basic job that he/she was contracted for.  It should absolutely clear to anyone who reads the original post that the person who attempted to write this blatant attack is lacking basic education.  He/she lacked the knowledge, experience, and skills to be a successful professional within this organization and was asked to leave against his/her will, which is why this hateful, libelous post was written.
