In October of 2017 I sent in an original PS3 for repair. The unit worked but would shut down after a few minutes. Sent to ps3specialist to have the chips reballed and reflowed. After almost 2 months of them blowing me off they finally tell me that the repair was not successful but he wanted to try it again? That was the last contact I had since January.
They took my payment for the repair and also my backwards compatible PS3 and pretend I don't exist. That is theft, false advertising, and several other illegal charges that they are responsible for. And it seems as though they do this to a lot of people. I hope somebody bring charges against them as I don't have the finanacial means to do so but they should not be allowed to stay in business. I have attempted to contact them by email, website, and phone for the last 4 months and it's almost as if there is not really a company there just a prescense on the internet.
