I submitted for a manufacturer rebate through a Microcenter bundle offer and the manufacturer is refusing to honor the rebate - well I should say the rebate fulfillment house is refusing. Their reasons were first, that the UPC I submitted was incorrect. Then second, after resubmitting, they stated that the Serial and UPC I supplied were 'not included in the promotion'. Microcenter is trying to correct the problem (at least I think they are, who knows). I have copies of everything including the postal receipts for certified mail (both times), the invoice, the Proview rebate form, and the UPC/Serial from the package (that incidentally shows the same model name as on their rebate form). I have solid proof that they should be honoring this rebate per their guidelines - it's so infuriating! I spoke to one of their phone representatives today and he gave me a fax number so I could submit everything a third time. I've tried the fax number but so far I can't get it to work. I've sent an email complaint directly to the manufacturer, Proview, but who knows if they will respond. I'm not stopping 'til I get this $30 and I will let as many people know as I can what a pain it is to do a rebate through Microcenter, Proview and their RebateHQ. By the way, I've done rebates before with no problem. Apple is great and Costco is great.
